Anniversary of the National Action Plan to End Gender-Based Violence

The National National Domestic Violence Hotline policy team joined other advocates and senior Biden-Harris Administration officials from across the government to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the first ever U.S. National Plan to End Gender-Based Violence. In this convening, federal officials spoke about how each agency and office is making substantial progress towards implementing the National Plan and ending gender-based violence wherever it occurs – at home, at work, in schools, in communities, and online.

The Policy team also attended Operationalizing the U.S. National Plan to End Gender-Based Violence: Visioning for the Future, a convening of national, state, and local advocates in the gender-based violence field along with federal partners and donors to discuss policy priorities and recommendations from the US GBV field and how the US GBV field can leverage and organize around the National Plan to advance existing and future policy priorities at the federal, state, and local levels.
