Cheyenne, Wyo. – Zonta of Cheyenne teamed up with Truckers Against Trafficking Wednesday and Thursday at Frontier Park to teach people how they can save lives by being able to recognize and report human trafficking.
“Would it be worth it if you saved one life? Would it be worth it if one person didn’t have to endure a life of slavery anymore because of one 15 minute call?” Helen Van Dam the Freedom Drivers Project Director for Truckers Against Trafficking said. “This isn’t as far from us as we think it is. This could be your sister, daughter, relative, it could be your brother. You never know who it could be happening to. And its happening to someone’s family member.”
